Towards the end of November 2003 I shall be
introducing a completely new permanent competition to the tipsterchallenge.com
website, called "TEN TO FOLLOW"
the format will follow exactly the same lines
as the Tote/Racing Post competition but obviously with less prizemoney available
and the scoring will be exactly the same based on your horses scoring points
throughout the season for each win;
The competition will run twice a year (covering
the NH/Jump and the Flat Seasons);
This competition however is not free, it cost
£1 per entry (list of 10 horses) which you choose from a starting list
of 500 horses, and users can enter as many lines as they
wish;
Users will also if they wish be able to perm
selections, bankers, etc, and their will also be a unique function whereby
users can ask the database to select a "wild-card" entry for
them.
tipster challenge users will be able to make
their entries via the website and an email will be sent to all registered
members in November with further details.
the level of prizemoney available will depend
on the number of entries made, the more entries submitted the higher the
prizefund.
75p from each £1 entry fee will go towards
prizemoney with the other 25p paying for administration
costs.
The winner will receive 50% of the total prizefund,
and the remaining 50% will be split between the players finishing in 2nd,
3rd, 4th, and 5th places.
You will be able to follow the progress of all
players entries on the website, and scores will be updated as soon as the
tote/racing post scores are updated which is usually twice per week during
the competition.
